I used a dictionary, and now I shall touch grass
A pretentious, but self aware and 😉unironic😉 thought I had and want to share. Please don't be mad.
(Brought to you by Baudrillardian brainhuggers that burn in my breast, bordering on basic themes behind the beloved W. Bros blockbuster betokened by boxoffices and buffs alike, "the Matrix")
"Rebuff." I had to Check to make sure I Used the word Correctly. At first I had mind to Google it, but repented and went, up from my seat, over to the bookshelf to grab my grotesque lump of a dictionary, then split, rived, and shaved the pages down to R E B and looked for myself. It was a sensuous, bodily, heaving dance.
What wonderful pleasures have I deprived myself of! Reading, Writing, Desk Work, as far as it can be called work is--can be so beautifully human! Why do we disdain life so much that we pass it by like treasure in the street and trade it in for Symbols, Swappable, Interchangeable, but merely a map, the territory itself lying all the time below the World sized Map we mistake--we take, and gladly make the trade, I say, for the real deal.
No cart can set its wheel, unless It too be Hyperreal, to the fake Veins across the desert plane of the Representations we have mistaken for the earth that god created, the paths our parents paved upon it not to Grok on Google Earth, but to connect both with the earth and other people, to make a place where they intersect, cross and wave, intercept, give pursuit, sweaty, breathing, leaving and receiving! And this, we Dared to Trade for Reddit, Youtube, Facebook, Symbols. Cheap Symbols--Simulations! for which Xeroxability has never been surpassed!
I used a dictionary, and now I shall touch grass.
